Pole Dresser

We're seeking a motivated and safety-focused Pole Dresser to join our team in Hervey Bay. Working with hardwood poles and specialized machinery, you'll play a key role in producing quality products that support Australia's infrastructure and utility industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate chainsaws, milling machines, and other equipment to cut and prepare hardwood poles to customer specifications.
• Manufacture and prefabricate hardwood poles and related products.
• Conduct daily machinery pre-start inspections and work safely at all times.
• Complete production paperwork and quality documentation accurately.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
• Meet production targets while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in timber processing, manufacturing, production, or a similar hands-on environment.
• Confidence operating machinery such as chainsaws, saws, or milling equipment.
• Strong focus on workplace safety and quality.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
